Moving Do’s & Don’ts
Can you move a lawn mower?
Yes, however all lawn mowers, grills, and machinery must be drained of oil and gasoline. Gas grills and propane tanks must be purged before being loaded onto the van.
Can you move gasoline?
No, we cannot ship the following items: gas, oil, cleansers, bleach, flammable, combustibles, aerosols cans, matches, ammunition and corrosives.
Can you move a refrigerator?
Yes, refrigerators and freezers must be defrosted before shipping. This should be done 24 hours in advance of load date. Pro Tip – Wipe inside, clean with vinegar.
Can you move bolted items that are secure to the wall?
No, we are not allowed to remove any pieces that are attached or bolted to the walls or floors. Such as pictures, mirrors, drapery rods, etc.
When should we disconnect electronics?
Please disconnect all electronic equipment and appliances at least one hour prior to packing.
